Patterson Chorale

The Patterson Chorale is a four-part (SATB) chorale.  The ensemble should play the chorale three times through in the following manner:

Play: Focus:
1) As written -Purity of sound with full block sounds
2) Subdivided -Cohesive movement with matched, lifted articulations
3) As written -Combination of full, pure sound of #1 and timing and movement of #2

Once the ensemble is moving together, a proper balance and blend will be emphasized in each of the portions of this exercise.  Each of the voice parts of the chorale should be heard on every chord equally.
